Chow Mein
Ingredients
12 oz fine egg noodles, cooked al dente
2 tbsp sunflower oil
1 lb roasted pork, cut into thin slices
8 oz nappa cabbage, sliced
8 oz bean sprouts
4 oz green onions, cut in quarters
1/3 cup water
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp corn starch
Directions
1. In wok or large pan, heat noodles with 1/2 tbsp oil. Remove from pan and set aside.
2. In the wok or large pan, heat the rest of the oil. Add meat first and then stir fry for about 30 seconds.
3. Add vegetables and stir fry for about a minute more, stirring constantly, until vegetables are mostly cooked.
4. Open a small space in middle of the wok. Pour in water blended with soy sauce and corn starch. Stir until sauce thickens. Serve stir fry mixture over noodles.
