Holiday Truffles
Ingredients
3 pkg (18 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
1 can (12 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp almond-flavored liqueur
2 tbsp orange liqueur
1/4 tsp almond extract
Coating options: cocoa powder, powdered sugar, crushed nuts, crushed cookies, crushed candies, coconut or other fruits, etc.
Directions
1. In heavy, medium-sized pan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk.
2. Remove from heat and divide evenly into 2 bowls.
3. To one bowl, add almond liqueur and almond extract. To the other bowl, add orange-flavored liqueur. Place in fridge and chill both mixtures for 1 hour.
4. Shape into one-inch balls. Roll balls in coatings of your choice. Chill until firm (at least 1 hour). Store covered at room temperature until ready to enjoy.
